Apple Vision Pro is now available in the US for $17,300.

Apple’s Vision Pro, which was anticipated, is now accessible to customers in the United States starting from Friday (2). Following a pre-sale period that commenced on January 19, Apple has begun shipping the devices to customers who made early purchases.

The virtual and augmented reality glasses, starting at $3,499, approximately equivalent to R$17 thousand, aim to transform how users engage with technology.

The company highlights the innovative user interface, which enables natural gestures like interacting with apps by simply looking at them, using touch to select, shaking the device to scroll, or utilizing a virtual keyboard and voice commands for typing.

Vision Pro is capable of playing 4K resolution videos, has 6 microphones, 12 cameras, and weighs around 600 grams. It operates on the visionOS system and is equipped with two key chips: the M2 for system operations and the R1 for image processing.

Apple provides storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. It emphasizes its collaboration with Zeiss, offering magnetic lenses for an extra fee of up to US$ 149 (approximately R$ 750) for users requiring prescription glasses.
